Eiffage, through the Dutch subsidiary of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, has just acquired 97% of Van den Pol Elektrotechniek BV, complementing its expertise in the industrial and tertiary markets.
This transaction is subject to approval by European competition authorities and is expected to be finalized in early 2024.
Founded in 1935, Van den Pol Elektrotechniek BV specializes in security installations, computer networks and industrial automation. In 2022, it achieved a turnover of 75 million euros and has 250 employees.
This acquisition both consolidates the expertise in electricity and information technologies of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes in the Netherlands, essential to meet the growing demand induced by the energy transition, and also allows it to strengthen its capacity to propose digital offers to support its customers’ industrial processes.
Fifth acquisition of the year in the Netherlands, after Gain Automation, VSK Kastenbouw, Safety Service and Klimatro Beheer BV, this new transaction positions Eiffage in this country as a major player in the energy sector.
