K-Consafety Awards 2026 Recognize 14Innovators Advancing Construction Safetyand AI

New Construction AI category highlights intelligent monitoring, hazard alerts and preventive safety technologies

The K-Consafety Awards 2026 ceremony, a key program of K-CONSAFETY EXPO 2026, was held on October 16 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1. A total of 14 companies and organizations received awards for their contributions to construction safety innovation.

Jointly organized by five construction safety industry organizations and KINTEX, the awards recognize practical technologies that help prevent serious accidents, improve safety management at construction sites, and encourage innovation and shared growth across the construction industry.

This year, the Construction AI Awards category was introduced alongside Innovative Technology and ESG & Shared Growth. Of 54 applicants, 14 winners were selected through document and product reviews by an eight-member panel of industry, academic and media experts: six in Innovative Technology, six in Construction AI and two in ESG & Shared Growth.

Innovative Technology Awards: Practical Safety Solutions

Winners included Meissa for its smart safety monitoring solution and K2 Safety for its smart airbag vest. Daehan Heavy Industries, JK, Isan Engineering and OneMoreSecurity were also recognized for equipment safety, worker protection and intelligent monitoring technologies.

Construction AI Awards: Intelligent Hazard Detection

Seonggeon Engineering received recognition for OASIS-L, an AI safety monitoring system designed for areas without communications coverage. KCT E&C was recognized for Meerkat, an AIoT sensor-based real-time hazard alert system. Other winners were Youngshin D&C (NexusCAM), SAIGE (SAIGE SAFETY), HiLocal (HiWorker) and ITONE (GeoNEX).

These technologies illustrate a transition from labor-intensive inspection toward AI-enabled real-time detection and data-driven prevention.

ESG & Shared Growth Awards

The Construction Safety Monitoring Association was honored for improving the professionalism and public role of safety monitors, while the Gyeonggi-do Construction Safety Technology Division was recognized for advancing a practical ESG management framework in the regional construction industry.

KINTEX presented award-winning technologies in a dedicated showcase and supported connections with construction companies and public-sector buyers. Additional complimentary booth space at the next exhibition is planned for winning companies.

The organizing office stated: “This year’s awards demonstrated the future direction of construction safety through AI technologies, practical innovations and ESG initiatives. We will continue to strengthen cooperation between innovators, construction companies and public institutions to help deploy these technologies and prevent serious accidents.”

K-CONSAFETY EXPO 2026 took place October 14–16 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, showcasing AI, robotics, smart construction and advanced safety solutions.
