A Career Rooted in Excellence and Growth
Eshpeter’s journey in the mechanical contracting industry began 25 years ago when he joined MacDonald-Miller as an HVAC apprentice. A graduate of Perry Technical Institute in Yakima, WA, he quickly advanced through the ranks, taking on roles of increasing responsibility. His career trajectory includes positions such as HVAC Foreman, Area Operations Manager in Everett, WA, Director, and most recently, Vice President of Service Operations.
Throughout his tenure, Eshpeter has played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s building services organization, expanding its reach across the Pacific Northwest, and fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centric innovation. His ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt service offerings accordingly has been pivotal in MacDonald-Miller’s sustained success.
Expanding Service Operations and Workforce Growth
In recent years, Eshpeter has been a driving force behind the expansion of MacDonald-Miller’s service field operations, particularly in Oregon and Washington. Since 2022, he has grown the service organization team by an impressive 37 percent, increasing the number of technicians, operators, and customer coordinators to more than 280 professionals. This growth has enabled MacDonald-Miller to meet the increasing demands of commercial clients while maintaining the company’s reputation for high-quality mechanical services.

Eshpeter’s leadership has also extended beyond workforce expansion. He has spearheaded efforts to optimize operational efficiency, improve customer responsiveness, and integrate advanced technology into MacDonald-Miller’s service delivery model. These efforts have resulted in improved service capabilities, faster turnaround times, and higher levels of customer satisfaction.
Commitment to Sustainability and Electrification
One of Eshpeter’s most impactful initiatives has been his commitment to sustainability, particularly in the area of fleet electrification. Under his leadership, MacDonald-Miller has taken significant steps toward reducing its carbon footprint by transitioning its fleet of over 900 trucks and vehicles to electric and hybrid models. This move is a key component of the company’s broader sustainability strategy and aligns with its pledge to achieve Climate Pledge objectives by 2040.
