Brown Jordan, Inc., a premier manufacturer of high-quality indoor and outdoor furniture, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Ulmer as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Ulmer succeeds Jerome Griffith, who is retiring from the company but will continue to serve on its Board of Directors. Brown Jordan is a portfolio company of Littlejohn & Co., a private equity firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut.
A Leader with Proven Expertise
David Ulmer brings a wealth of experience in manufacturing and distribution businesses, having held several leadership positions throughout his career. Most recently, he served as the CEO of OX Engineered Products, a leading provider of high-quality insulation solutions and weatherization systems for major homebuilders. Under his leadership from 2018 to 2025, OX Engineered Products experienced significant growth, culminating in its acquisition by Holcim, a globally recognized leader in building solutions based in Switzerland.
Before leading OX Engineered Products, Mr. Ulmer served as President and CEO of The Tapco Group, a global manufacturer specializing in exterior building products, including siding, trim board, and other high-performance components. His extensive background in operational excellence, product innovation, and strategic growth positions him well to lead Brown Jordan through its next phase of expansion.
