AECOM (NYSE: ACM), a leading infrastructure consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Jill Hudkins as the chief executive of its newly established Water & Environment Advisory global business line. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in AECOM’s growth strategy, which aims to leverage its technical expertise and strong client relationships to create high-value, complementary businesses.

The new advisory division will provide strategic guidance to clients facing complex water and environmental management challenges throughout project lifecycles. “I’m thrilled to welcome Jill to AECOM to lead the expansion of our water and environment advisory business,” Rudd added. “Her leadership, similar to key appointments that have driven the success of our Program Management business, will be essential as we aim to double our industry-leading water capabilities over the next five years. We are eager to meet the rising demand for comprehensive advisory, consulting, design, and program management solutions that tackle today’s most urgent water and environmental issues.”
Ms. Hudkins brings over 25 years of experience to AECOM, having previously served as President at Tetra Tech. In her prior roles, she was instrumental in advancing digital applications and data analytics across global operations in water, environment, and sustainable infrastructure, notably launching and expanding the Digital Water practice.
“Jill is a respected authority in our industry,” said Lara Poloni, AECOM’s president. “I look forward to collaborating with her to help clients navigate increasing complexities and ensure that their projects provide long-term value for communities and the planet.”
Ms. Hudkins holds a master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in the same field from Duke University. She also serves on the University of Miami’s College of Engineering Academic Review Committee.
