A new four-star hotel, called “Vertime”, is being built near the Olona port, in the heart of Sables-d’Olonne (Vendée), opposite the Vendée Globe pontoon. Eiffage Immobilier entrusted the structural work to the Eiffage Construction teams. These were completed in June 2023. These are now the “secondary” works which are in progress (electrical installation, arrangement of partitions, floors, etc.), also carried out by our teams. The inauguration of this 4-star hotel is planned to coincide with the start of the Vendée Globe in November 2024, an intense time challenge for our teams!
The establishment will offer 105 rooms equipped with HVA Concept bathrooms (built off-site), including 6 luxurious suites, over an area of more than 3,500 m². It will also include 2 seminar rooms of 35 m², a club area that can be privatized, a restaurant on the ground floor and a bar on the terrace which will have a swimming pool. Regarding the architecture, the hotel will resemble a large seaside villa with views of the port and the city.
“We wanted to offer an architecture designed from the symbolic figure of the updated seaside villa from the beginning of the 20th century, thus playing on an “already there”, a landmark for sailors and locals, a timeless architecture that carries of an art of living in Sable. “.

This hotel will expand the high-end hotel offering in the town of Sables-d’Olonne and thus contribute to the attractiveness and economic dynamism of the city.
Delivery to all trades is planned for March 2024. The hotel team will then take possession of the premises for the installation of the various equipment necessary for the operation of the place such as layout, furniture, decoration . The opening to the public is planned for September 2024 for the start of the Vendée Globe.
