Ci Design Partners with Ypsomed on Landmark U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Facility
Ci Design, Inc. is collaborating with Ypsomed to deliver the Swiss healthcare company’s first U.S.-based advanced manufacturing facility in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Currently under construction, the new facility will expand Ypsomed’s manufacturing capabilities for self-injection systems and support the company’s efforts to meet growing demand for healthcare and self-care solutions in global markets.
Headquartered in Burgdorf, Switzerland, Ypsomed employs more than 2,000 people and specializes in the development and production of injection and infusion systems for the healthcare sector. Its new North American facility represents a major investment in the company’s manufacturing infrastructure and is expected to provide significant opportunities for future growth.
The approximately 160,000-square-foot facility is being developed as a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) medical device production center. The facility will be designed to support the production of advanced self-injection systems while providing the infrastructure and flexibility required to accommodate increasing demand from the global healthcare market.
The project is located in Holly Springs, within North Carolina’s rapidly expanding life sciences corridor.
