Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts Unveil Luxury Lifestyle Destination at Ras El Hekma
Abu Dhabi-based Modon Holding has partnered with Nammos Hotels & Resorts to introduce Nammos Ras El Hekma, the iconic hospitality and lifestyle brand’s first fully integrated destination in Egypt. Set within the Wadi Yemm precinct of the ambitious Ras El Hekma development on Egypt’s North Coast, the project is designed to redefine luxury coastal living by blending premium residences, upscale hospitality, curated retail, wellness offerings, and world-class dining into a single destination.
The announcement marks another milestone in the transformation of Ras El Hekma into one of the Mediterranean region’s most significant mixed-use developments. Combining contemporary architecture with the relaxed elegance of Mediterranean living, Nammos Ras El Hekma aims to deliver an exclusive experience that appeals to residents, visitors, and global investors seeking a premium lifestyle destination.
The development will feature four core components: Nammos Residences, Nammos Resort, Nammos Village, and the globally recognized Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club. Together, these elements will create an integrated environment where hospitality, residential living, entertainment, wellness, and retail coexist in a carefully planned coastal community.
Nammos Residences will include a collection of 72 luxury apartments ranging from one- to four-bedroom layouts, along with an exclusive penthouse. Each residence has been designed to maximize natural light, panoramic sea views, and seamless indoor-outdoor living while reflecting the refined yet relaxed character that has become synonymous with the Nammos brand.
Complementing the residential offering, the Nammos Resort will provide 79 premium hotel accommodations across five categories. Guests will be able to choose from junior suites, one-bedroom suites, two-bedroom suites, presidential suites, and celebration suites, each combining contemporary luxury with personalized hospitality services.
Residents and hotel guests will have access to a broad range of lifestyle amenities designed to support year-round living and leisure. These include wellness and fitness facilities, luxury spa services, swimming pools, private cabanas, children’s entertainment areas, fine dining venues, boutique retail, and exclusive hospitality experiences integrated throughout the destination.
One of the project’s most distinctive features will be Nammos Village, an innovative retail and lifestyle district inspired by the charm of traditional Mediterranean villages. Rather than serving solely as a shopping destination, the village has been conceived as a vibrant social environment where visitors can explore luxury boutiques, art installations, wellness experiences, cafés, and cultural attractions. The concept is intended to encourage discovery, relaxation, and community interaction while reinforcing the project’s Mediterranean identity.
At the center of the development will be the internationally renowned Nammos Restaurant & Beach Club, a flagship attraction expected to become one of Egypt’s premier beachfront destinations. Inspired by the natural beauty of coastal cave formations, the venue will combine sophisticated architecture with immersive hospitality experiences. Guests will enjoy high-energy dining, premium beach services, private cabanas, multiple pools, luxury sunbeds, and direct access to the Mediterranean shoreline, delivering the vibrant atmosphere for which Nammos has become globally recognized.
The architectural vision for Nammos Ras El Hekma draws heavily from Cycladic and Mediterranean design traditions. Soft archways, sculpted building forms, natural stone, limewashed finishes, and warm organic materials create a timeless aesthetic that blends harmoniously with the surrounding coastline. The design emphasizes strong connections between interior and exterior spaces, allowing residents and visitors to experience uninterrupted views, natural ventilation, and abundant outdoor living areas throughout the year.
According to Bill O’Regan, Group Chief Executive Officer of Modon Holding, Ras El Hekma is rapidly evolving into one of the Mediterranean’s most ambitious master-planned destinations. He noted that the successful progress of the Wadi Yemm precinct reflects the company’s long-term commitment to creating a vibrant city capable of supporting permanent residents, international tourism, and sustained economic investment.
He explained that the arrival of globally recognized hospitality brands such as Nammos reinforces Ras El Hekma’s growing international profile while strengthening its position as a destination for luxury living, leisure, and investment. O’Regan added that Nammos Ras El Hekma introduces a distinctive lifestyle experience that complements the broader vision for the development.
Petros Stathis, Chairman of Nammos, described the Egyptian project as an important step in the company’s international expansion strategy. He emphasized that Egypt’s North Coast has emerged as one of the Mediterranean’s fastest-growing luxury tourism markets, making Ras El Hekma an ideal location for the continued growth of the Nammos brand.
Meanwhile, Carolyn Turnbull, Chief Executive Officer of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said the destination has been carefully designed to combine hospitality, residential living, and premium lifestyle experiences within a single integrated community. Inspired by more than two decades of the Nammos brand’s success, the project aims to create memorable experiences that celebrate Mediterranean culture, exceptional service, and luxury coastal living.
Nammos Ras El Hekma forms part of the larger USD 35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan, one of the most significant urban developments currently underway in the Middle East and North Africa. Covering approximately 170.8 million square meters, the project is expected to attract USD 110 billion in cumulative investment by 2045, transforming Egypt’s North Coast into a globally competitive destination for tourism, business, and residential living.
The Wadi Yemm district represents the first of 17 planned precincts scheduled for development within the masterplan. Beyond residential and hospitality offerings, it will feature cultural attractions and public spaces that contribute to the emerging identity of the wider city.
Strategically positioned along 44 kilometers of Mediterranean coastline, Ras El Hekma is being designed with exceptional regional connectivity. The destination will benefit from a new international airport, high-speed rail connections, modern highways, marinas, and a dedicated cruise terminal, placing it within approximately four hours’ flight time of nearly half of the world’s population.
The masterplan also includes a central business and financial district, educational institutions, residential neighborhoods, mixed-use communities, leisure attractions, and extensive hospitality infrastructure. Together, these elements are intended to create a thriving year-round city that supports sustainable economic growth while offering an exceptional quality of life for residents and visitors alike.
With the launch of Nammos Ras El Hekma, Modon Holding and Nammos Hotels & Resorts are bringing one of the world’s most recognizable luxury lifestyle brands to Egypt, further enhancing Ras El Hekma’s emergence as a premier Mediterranean destination for upscale living, tourism, and international investment.
