Tivoli Lighting Launches TRACE Pro™ Linear Lighting Platform

Tivoli Lighting Launches TRACE Pro™ Advanced Linear Lighting Platform for Architectural and Dynamic Lighting Applications

Building on more than five decades of innovation and expertise in linear lighting solutions, Tivoli Lighting has unveiled TRACE Pro™, a next-generation lighting platform engineered to deliver exceptional performance, design flexibility, and simplified specification across a wide range of applications. The new system is designed to meet the evolving needs of architects, lighting designers, specifiers, and project owners working in architectural, hospitality, entertainment, themed environments, public spaces, and commercial developments.

TRACE Pro represents a significant advancement in linear lighting technology by combining multiple lighting capabilities into a single, cohesive platform. Rather than requiring designers to select from multiple product families to achieve different lighting effects, the system integrates static white, dynamic white, RGBW, and pixel-controlled lighting technologies within one streamlined solution.

The result is a versatile platform capable of supporting everything from subtle architectural illumination to highly dynamic and interactive lighting displays.

At the heart of TRACE Pro is a compact and refined profile measuring just 16 mm by 17 mm. The slim 1×1 design allows the system to blend seamlessly into architectural elements while maintaining a clean and contemporary appearance. Engineered for both horizontal and vertical installations, TRACE Pro enables designers to create continuous lines of light that enhance spaces without overwhelming them visually.

The low-profile form factor makes the system particularly suitable for projects where aesthetics and integration are critical considerations. Whether outlining building facades, accentuating interior features, illuminating hospitality spaces, or creating immersive entertainment environments, TRACE Pro offers a balance of performance and visual elegance.

One of the platform’s defining features is its ability to accommodate a wide range of lighting applications within a unified system architecture.

The TRACE Pro Static White configuration delivers clean, consistent illumination with multiple correlated color temperature (CCT) and color options. Designed for architectural outlines, cove lighting, and general illumination applications, this configuration offers high light output and supports continuous runs of up to 58 feet, reducing interruptions and maintaining visual continuity.

For projects that require adjustable lighting environments, TRACE Pro Dynamic White provides tunable white light ranging from 1900K to 6500K. With a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 90, the system delivers excellent color accuracy while allowing users to transition smoothly between warm, inviting hospitality settings and cooler daylight-inspired environments. This flexibility makes it well suited for wellness facilities, restaurants, hotels, offices, and public spaces where lighting conditions may change throughout the day.

Another option within the platform is TRACE Pro Louver Static, which incorporates an integrated honeycomb louver designed to improve visual comfort and reduce glare. This feature is particularly valuable in pedestrian-facing applications and environments where controlling brightness and minimizing visual distraction are important design objectives.

For projects focused on entertainment, experiential design, and visual impact, Tivoli Lighting offers TRACE Pro RGB and TRACE Pro RGBW configurations. These systems provide designers with extensive creative possibilities for dynamic color-changing effects.

The RGB version can generate more than 65 million color combinations, allowing for vivid and highly expressive lighting environments. Meanwhile, the RGBW configuration expands creative flexibility even further by providing more than 80 million color combinations and incorporating a dedicated white channel. This addition enables cleaner white light, softer pastel shades, and improved color quality for applications that require both dynamic color and refined illumination.

TRACE Pro also introduces advanced pixel-controlled lighting capabilities designed for interactive and animated installations.

TRACE Pro Pixel White utilizes DMX-controlled pixel technology and offers 2.4 pixels per foot along with five-inch cutting increments. The system features standard 3000K white light output and is ideal for applications requiring animated lighting effects without the use of saturated colors. This solution allows designers to create motion and visual interest while maintaining a sophisticated white-light aesthetic.

For more advanced visual applications, TRACE Pro Pixel RGBW combines pixel mapping technology with RGBW color control and programmable DMX scenes. The system supports advanced chasing effects, dynamic animations, and customizable lighting sequences. Featuring 2.4 pixels per foot and high-output RGB30 performance, it is particularly suited for bridges, media facades, public art installations, entertainment venues, and large-scale architectural lighting projects.

Beyond its lighting capabilities, TRACE Pro has been designed to simplify specification and installation. Tivoli Lighting developed the platform as a complete system solution with a broad range of universal mounting options that allow designers and contractors to use a single product family across multiple applications.

Available mounting solutions include standard channels, notched channels, mud-in profiles with single-sided and double-sided flange options, and polycarbonate channels with various clip configurations. This comprehensive mounting ecosystem enables greater design consistency while reducing complexity during project planning and installation.

Durability was another key consideration during the development of TRACE Pro. The platform features an enhanced housing specifically engineered for demanding environments. Its IK10 impact rating demonstrates the system’s ability to withstand physical impacts, making it suitable for high-traffic and challenging installations.

The lighting system utilizes a UV-stabilized silicone housing designed to resist yellowing, cracking, and degradation caused by prolonged environmental exposure. This construction ensures reliable long-term performance in both indoor and outdoor settings while maintaining aesthetic quality over time.

Operating on a low-voltage 24V DC platform, TRACE Pro supports multiple control and dimming protocols, including 0–10V and DMX. These compatibility options provide designers and integrators with the flexibility to implement simple lighting controls or sophisticated dynamic lighting systems depending on project requirements.

The platform also delivers consistent illumination over extended runs, helping maintain visual uniformity while reducing installation complexity.

According to Larry Lin, Vice President of Tivoli Lighting, TRACE Pro represents a more intelligent approach to modern linear lighting design. He explained that the platform combines compact aesthetics, rugged durability, and advanced control technologies into a single versatile solution that empowers designers to execute their creative visions with greater confidence and efficiency.

Further supporting its suitability for a wide range of projects, all TRACE Pro products are certified to cULus and CE standards and carry an IP67 rating for wet-location applications. The system is engineered to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from 40°F to 140°F and offers an expected performance life of approximately 60,000 hours.

Backed by a five-year warranty, TRACE Pro provides architects, designers, contractors, and building owners with a dependable lighting solution that combines innovation, performance, and flexibility. By consolidating multiple technologies into one streamlined platform, Tivoli Lighting has created a system that simplifies the specification process while expanding the possibilities for architectural and experiential lighting design.
