The SEER Group Names Harish Ramalingam as Chief Executive Officer to Drive Next Phase of Growth

The SEER Group, a platform comprising 40 residential and commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing businesses operating across 11 U.S. states, has announced the appointment of Harish Ramalingam as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 30, 2026. He will succeed Justin Nagy, who is stepping down to pursue a CEO position outside the industry after playing a key role in building SEER’s national platform and expanding its network of partner brands.

The leadership transition comes at a time when SEER is continuing its strong growth trajectory. Over recent years, the organization has expanded both strategically and geographically, evolving from a growing network of regional service providers into a more integrated national platform. As it enters its next phase of development, SEER is placing increased emphasis on operational discipline, scalability, and delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience across all its partner businesses.

Ramalingam joins the organization with extensive experience leading large-scale, consumer-facing operations where performance is closely tied to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. His appointment reflects SEER’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capabilities as it scales its platform and enhances service delivery across diverse markets.

Speaking about his new role, Ramalingam emphasized the importance of frontline teams in shaping customer outcomes. “Our frontline teams are the face of our brands — and my job is to make sure they’re set up to succeed,” he said. “That means removing friction, improving how we operate, and giving them what they need to deliver great service every day. The opportunity to elevate the customer experience in this category is significant, and I’m excited to build that with our people.”

His leadership philosophy centers on enabling teams to operate with clarity, accountability, and ownership. Ramalingam has built a reputation for aligning large organizations around clear strategic priorities while creating systems that support consistent execution at scale. His experience spans both operational leadership and organizational transformation, with a strong focus on improving efficiency and driving sustainable growth.

Most recently, Ramalingam served as Co-President at Progress Residential, one of the largest single-family rental housing platforms in the United States. During his tenure, he played a key role in guiding the company through a period of rapid expansion, digital transformation, and improved profitability. His work included strengthening operational systems, enhancing customer experience capabilities, and supporting EBITDA growth through disciplined execution and process optimization.

Prior to that, Ramalingam spent several years at McDonald’s Corporation, where he held leadership roles overseeing a broad portfolio of restaurants across multiple states. In that capacity, he was responsible for operational performance and development across the Great South Market, managing large teams and driving consistency across a wide network of locations. His time at McDonald’s helped shape his approach to large-scale operational leadership, particularly in building systems that support frontline efficiency and customer service excellence.

At SEER, Ramalingam will focus on continuing the company’s investment in its partner brands while supporting expansion into new markets. A key priority will be strengthening the operational backbone that enables local businesses within the SEER network to perform effectively and grow sustainably. This includes enhancing technology systems, improving internal processes, and ensuring that best practices are shared across the platform.

The company’s leadership has emphasized that SEER’s growth strategy is rooted in combining national-scale capabilities with strong local presence. Its network of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing businesses continues to operate as community-based service providers while benefiting from shared resources, operational support, and strategic guidance from the broader platform.

A central element of SEER’s approach is its people-first culture, which focuses on empowering employees and strengthening relationships within the communities they serve. The organization aims to preserve the local identity of its partner businesses while equipping them with the tools and infrastructure needed to compete effectively in an increasingly complex and competitive market.

Under Ramalingam’s leadership, SEER is expected to further refine its operational model and accelerate initiatives aimed at improving service quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. His appointment signals a continued commitment to disciplined expansion and operational excellence as the company moves into its next stage of maturity.

As SEER looks ahead, its focus remains on building a scalable, high-performing platform that supports both its partner brands and the customers they serve. With Ramalingam at the helm, the organization is positioning itself to strengthen its market presence while continuing to invest in people, processes, and systems that drive sustained success.
