Intero Hosts 2025 Kickoff & Agent Awards

Intero, a wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc., recently celebrated its top-performing agents and teams for 2025 during its highly anticipated Intero Honors event. This annual tradition brings together the entire organization to recognize outstanding achievements, reinforce company culture, and highlight the contributions of individuals who have demonstrated excellence in serving their clients and communities.

This year’s celebration was held in conjunction with Intero’s all-company kickoff event at Levi’s Stadium, creating a vibrant and energetic setting for honoring top talent across the organization. The combined event not only marked the beginning of a new business year but also served as a platform to reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and celebrate those who have set new benchmarks in performance.

Terry Meyer, Founder and President of Intero, emphasized the importance of the event as a unifying moment for the company. He described Intero Honors as a powerful celebration of the entire community, where agents and staff come together to recognize both individual and collective achievements. According to Meyer, the awards highlight those whose dedication, professionalism, and commitment to client success have translated into exceptional results.

Based on 2025 production performance, a significant number of agents and teams were recognized across multiple award tiers. A total of 20 individuals and teams were named to the prestigious Chairman’s Circle, representing the highest level of achievement within the organization. In addition, 66 honorees were included in the President’s Circle, while 90 agents and teams earned placement in the Executive’s Circle. These distinctions reflect consistent excellence in sales performance, client service, and overall contribution to the company’s success.

Beyond production-based awards, Intero also recognized several individuals and teams with special honors that celebrate unique accomplishments and contributions. Lena Koenig received the Rookie of the Year Award for both Gross Commission Income (GCI) and transaction units, highlighting an impressive first year in the business. Jordan Mott earned the Top Individual Awards for both GCI and units, demonstrating outstanding personal performance. Meanwhile, The Tse Group was recognized as the Top Team for both GCI and units, showcasing exceptional teamwork and results.

Philanthropy and service were also key themes of the event. Eddie Oberoi received the Top Intero Foundation Contributor Award, reflecting his ongoing commitment to giving back. Samantha Cortez was honored with the Denise Pearson Service Award, which recognizes individuals who go above and beyond in their support of the Intero Foundation. Cortez’s dedication to creative marketing and outreach initiatives played a significant role in advancing the Foundation’s mission throughout the year.

Stephanie Hicks, President of the Intero Foundation, expressed deep appreciation for Cortez’s contributions, noting that the Denise Pearson Award is reserved for those who consistently exceed expectations in their service efforts. Her year-round commitment has helped strengthen the Foundation’s impact and visibility within the community.

Another major highlight of the event was the presentation of the Bob Kaufman Value Award to Eddie Oberoi. The award was presented by Gino Blefari, former CEO of HomeServices of America and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. Blefari praised Oberoi for his role as a trusted advisor, leader, and mentor, emphasizing his ability to support not only clients but also colleagues and fellow agents in building successful futures.

Oberoi’s philanthropic contributions were also recognized, as he was named the Intero Foundation’s Top Contributor for the sixth consecutive year. Over time, he has donated more than $200,000 to the Foundation, demonstrating a deep commitment to charitable giving. His vision of inspiring every Intero agent to contribute reflects a broader effort to foster a culture of philanthropy across the organization.

Leadership and legacy were also central to this year’s awards. The Intero Leadership Award was officially renamed the Mia Park Leadership Award in honor of Mia Park, who dedicated more than 22 years to the company in various leadership roles. Park’s contributions included leading the relocation department, directing the Intero Academy, and serving as Broker of Record. Her influence left a lasting mark on the organization, and the renamed award serves as a tribute to her character, strength, and leadership.

The inaugural Mia Park Leadership Award was presented to Derek Overbey, Intero’s Vice President of Marketing. Meyer noted that Overbey embodies the same qualities that defined Park’s leadership, making him a fitting recipient to carry forward her legacy. His contributions across the organization have had a meaningful impact on both internal operations and external brand presence.

In addition to individual recognitions, Intero also honored long-term excellence through its Hall of Fame inductions. Trang Dunlap and Jason Pham were inducted into the Intero Hall of Fame, a distinction reserved for professionals who have demonstrated sustained success and dedication over many years. Their consistent performance across varying market conditions highlights their resilience, expertise, and commitment to excellence.

Rishi Bakshi, Manager of the Fremont office, praised Dunlap and Pham for their unwavering dedication to clients, colleagues, and the company. He emphasized that Hall of Fame recognition reflects not just short-term success but years of hard work, adaptability, and professionalism. Both individuals have played a significant role in helping families achieve homeownership while navigating complex real estate transactions with integrity and skill.

The event ultimately reinforced Intero’s core belief that its people are the foundation of its success. Meyer concluded by highlighting that the company’s culture and values are driven by the strength, dedication, and achievements of its agents and staff. The Intero Honors event serves as both a celebration of past accomplishments and a source of inspiration for continued excellence in the years ahead.

Through this annual tradition, Intero not only recognizes top performers but also strengthens its sense of community, encourages professional growth, and reaffirms its commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients across the real estate market.
