Comfort Systems USA, Inc. (NYSE: FIX), a leading provider of commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC and electrical contracting services, has announced the appointment of Gaurav Kapoor to its Board of Directors. Kapoor brings valuable experience in public company finance and accounting, as well as extensive knowledge in executive management and corporate strategy.
At 46 years old, Kapoor currently serves as Chief Financial & Operations Officer at AECOM (NYSE: ACM), a global infrastructure consulting firm. In this role, he manages the company’s global operations and finance functions, including regional operations, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, global shared services, internal audit, tax, treasury, and global real estate. Kapoor is also a member of AECOM’s Executive Leadership Team. His previous roles at AECOM include Chief Accounting Officer and Global Controller since December 2016, and Treasurer since October 2019. He has held other leadership positions at AECOM, such as Senior Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Senior Vice President of Project Delivery, Americas Design Consulting Services. Before joining AECOM in 2015, Kapoor spent 15 years at Ernst & Young LLP as an audit partner and held various leadership roles. He earned his B.B.A. from California State University-Fullerton.
