Black Construction-Tutor Perini JV Wins $38.3M Guam Battalion HQ Project

Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) announced that its joint venture with Black Construction Corporation has been awarded a contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific District. The $38.3 million contract is for the P-324 9th Engineering Support Battalion Headquarters Project at Marine Corps Base Guam.

The project involves building low-rise facilities for the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force’s 9th Engineering Support Battalion. The structures will feature reinforced concrete walls, floors, roofs, and shallow foundations. The main administration building will house battalion and company headquarters, with offices, meeting rooms, and support spaces.

Construction is expected to begin in early 2025, with completion slated for November 2026. The contract value will be added to Tutor Perini’s backlog in Q3 2024.
