AEG Presents to Open United Heritage Hall in Austin in 2027

AEG Presents Announces United Heritage Hall, a New 4,000-Capacity Music Venue in Austin

AEG Presents has announced plans to open United Heritage Hall, a new state-of-the-art live music venue in Austin, Texas, in spring 2027. Designed to accommodate approximately 4,000 guests, the venue will combine advanced production capabilities with an intimate, fan-focused atmosphere.

The new venue is being developed through a partnership between AEG Presents and United Heritage Credit Union. The collaboration aims to create a new destination for live entertainment while celebrating Austin’s longstanding reputation as one of the world’s leading music cities.

United Heritage Hall will be part of River Park, a 109-acre mixed-use development in Austin’s rapidly expanding Riverside neighborhood. AEG Presents is developing the venue in partnership with Westfield, Partners Group and Presidium. As one of the key entertainment components of River Park, the venue is expected to contribute to the development’s broader goal of creating a vibrant, walkable district centered on culture, entertainment, music and community.

The location will provide convenient access to both downtown Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Its position on the city’s east side is expected to give residents, visitors and touring artists another major live entertainment destination while supporting continued development in the surrounding area.

Bringing a New Music Destination to Austin

According to AEG Presents, United Heritage Hall is intended to reflect both Austin’s rich musical history and the evolving future of live entertainment. The venue will focus on delivering high-quality performances while maintaining a more intimate atmosphere that allows audiences to feel closely connected to artists.

Robin Phillips, Vice President of the Southwest Region at AEG Presents, said the company was excited to announce the project in partnership with United Heritage Credit Union. He noted that the partners shared a vision for creating a venue that could honor Austin’s musical legacy while becoming part of the city’s next chapter.

Phillips described the project as the result of extensive work by the AEG Presents team and said the company believes Austin deserves another iconic live music venue. The organization is looking forward to welcoming audiences when the doors open in 2027.

United Heritage Credit Union is also positioning the project as an important part of its long-term connection to Central Texas. The credit union will mark its 70th anniversary in 2027, the same year United Heritage Hall is scheduled to open.

Michael Ver Schuur, President and CEO of United Heritage Credit Union, said the milestone makes the venue particularly significant for the organization. He explained that the credit union has grown alongside Central Texas over seven decades and has continued investing in communities across the region.

United Heritage Hall, he said, represents both a celebration of that history and an investment in Austin’s future. The venue is expected to provide a gathering place where artists, music fans and local communities can come together for years to come.

Design Inspired by Austin’s Character

The approximately 65,000-square-foot venue has been designed to create a distinctive visual identity while maintaining a strong connection to Austin’s cultural character.

The architectural and interior design concept draws inspiration from several eras, including 1920s Art Deco and the optimism associated with mid-century design. These influences will be combined with contemporary elements and a forward-looking approach to create a venue that feels both historic and modern.

The design is intended to provide United Heritage Hall with an identity that stands apart from conventional concert venues. Rather than focusing exclusively on scale, the project emphasizes atmosphere, comfort and audience engagement.

Every aspect of the venue has been planned around the live entertainment experience, from performance infrastructure and sightlines to hospitality and guest amenities.

Advanced Production and Premium Amenities

United Heritage Hall will feature state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems designed to support a broad range of live performances. The venue will also provide strong sightlines throughout the audience area, helping ensure that fans have an engaging view of performances regardless of their location.

Premium hospitality will be another major component of the venue. Planned amenities include luxury suites and VIP seating, giving guests options for an elevated concert experience.

Artist facilities will also be incorporated into the venue’s design. Thoughtfully planned artist spaces are intended to support performers and touring productions while helping United Heritage Hall accommodate a diverse calendar of events.

With a capacity of approximately 4,000 people, the venue is positioned between larger arenas and smaller clubs. This scale could allow United Heritage Hall to host established touring artists in a more intimate environment while also providing opportunities for emerging performers and Austin-based musicians.

Diverse Programming Planned

United Heritage Hall is expected to present an eclectic lineup of live music once it opens. Its programming will include global touring artists, emerging performers and members of Austin’s renowned local music community.

The venue’s combination of modern production technology, premium amenities and intimate capacity is expected to make it suitable for a wide range of musical genres and performance formats.

The project will also add another significant cultural and entertainment destination to Austin’s east side. As River Park continues to develop, United Heritage Hall is expected to play an important role in attracting visitors and contributing to the area’s broader mix of activities.

Opening Planned for Spring 2027

United Heritage Hall is scheduled to open in spring 2027. The venue’s launch will coincide with United Heritage Credit Union’s 70th anniversary, adding additional significance to the partnership.

AEG Presents has not yet announced the venue’s inaugural performances or full programming schedule. Details regarding opening events, ticket sales and future performances are expected to be released closer to the opening date.

With its 4,000-person capacity, advanced production systems, premium hospitality and distinctive design, United Heritage Hall is set to become a new addition to Austin’s competitive live entertainment market. Backed by AEG Presents and its development partners, the project aims to create a venue that respects the city’s celebrated musical heritage while offering artists and audiences a modern destination for live performances.

As construction and development progress, the venue is expected to become one of the central entertainment components of River Park and a new landmark for Austin’s growing Riverside neighborhood.
