Skanska has signed an additional contract with the School District of Manatee County to build the new Artisan Lakes Elementary School in Parrish, Florida. The full contract is valued at USD 68 million, with USD 51 million (approximately SEK 530 million) included in Skanska’s U.S. order bookings for the second quarter of 2025.
The project will involve the development of a 12,500-square-meter (134,600-square-foot) elementary school on a 20-acre greenfield site along Buckeye Road. The two-story facility will include 63 classrooms designed to serve over 950 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition to the main school building, the campus will feature a covered playground and a boardwalk leading to the nearby wetlands.
Construction is currently underway and is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2026.
