AECOM, a leading global infrastructure consulting firm, has announced the appointments of Mark Blanchard and Jaidev Sankar to strategic leadership roles in its U.S. East and Latin America region. Blanchard will serve as Vice President and Miami Metro+ Executive, while Sankar takes on the role of Transit Strategy & Growth Lead.

With over 35 years of industry experience, Blanchard returns to AECOM to lead initiatives across the Florida region. His extensive background spans transportation, housing, aviation, and water utilities. In his new role, he will guide regional growth strategies, forge strategic partnerships, and deliver forward-thinking project solutions.

Sankar, who brings over 30 years of experience—including 13 previously with AECOM—returns after leading a major capital delivery program at Amtrak. There, he managed a team of over 200 professionals delivering more than $30 billion in infrastructure investments. At AECOM, he will focus on transit strategy, client engagement, project pipeline development, and support for major pursuits in the region.
