LP Building Solutions (LP), a leading provider of high-performance building products, has announced the appointment of Tony Hamill as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective June 30, 2025.

As COO, Hamill will oversee LP’s extensive North American manufacturing operations, which span 18 facilities and include over 3,000 employees. He will be responsible for the efficiency and output of all product lines, including LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding, LP® Structural Solutions, and LP® Oriented Strand Board.
A registered professional engineer, Hamill joined LP in 2013 and has steadily advanced through senior roles such as Vice President of Engineering and Vice President of Siding Manufacturing. He has led major initiatives to expand LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding production, spearheading four strategic mill conversions and advancing the ExpertFinish® line—key efforts that have significantly boosted LP’s capacity and market position.
Before LP, Hamill held senior leadership roles at global engineering firm Stantec and served as COO of Roseburg Forest Products, overseeing manufacturing, engineering, and sales functions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
