Eiffage has been awarded a contract for the renovation of the Anvers and Londres towers, which are 33 and 32 floors respectively, located in the Olympiades district of Paris’ 13th arrondissement. The project will be managed by a consortium that includes the architectural firms FBAA and PLURIEL(LES) Architectes, alongside BET CET Ingénierie.
The renovation will be carried out while the buildings remain occupied. It will involve the preservation and restoration of the facades, along with the installation of an internal thermal envelope. Additional improvements include repainting, ensuring electrical systems comply with modern standards, replacing the heating system, and installing motorized bioclimatic roller shutters to enhance residents’ comfort. The contract also covers the operation and maintenance of the heating and domestic hot water production systems.
In alignment with the Paris Climate Plan, the project aims to achieve a Class B Energy Performance Diagnostic by reducing heating consumption by 50% for its residents. Another initiative includes a waste recovery process in collaboration with the Réavie Reuse Association, focusing on repurposing construction materials.
The design phase started in early 2024 and will last for 12 months. This will be followed by 24 months of construction work, carried out by Eiffage Construction, which is expected to be completed by 2027. Eiffage Énergie Systèmes will be responsible for the building’s operation and maintenance for eight years, starting in July 2024. At peak times, up to 82 workers will be involved in the project.
