Wakefield Council Approves Plans for 103 New Homes in South Kirkby
Plans to deliver more than 100 new homes in South Kirkby, Wakefield, have received approval, paving the way for a new residential development designed to provide a mix of housing, improved community amenities, and environmentally focused features.
Wakefield Councillors approved proposals submitted by Persimmon Homes for the construction of 103 new homes on Mayfields Way, South Kirkby, at a council meeting on Thursday. The site has already been identified for residential development through the Wakefield Local Plan, meaning the proposed housing scheme is consistent with the council’s long-term planning strategy for the area.
