Budimex has signed a significant agreement with Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. for the delivery of a strategic infrastructure project aimed at enhancing Poland’s energy security. The contract covers the construction of a state-of-the-art gas compressor station in Lwówek, located in the Wielkopolska province, along with the expansion and modernisation of the existing transmission hub. This new development represents another milestone in Budimex’s growing portfolio of critical gas infrastructure investments and marks the fifth joint project between the two companies.

In addition to the compressor units, the scope of work includes the construction of DN 1000 MOP 8.4 MPa connection units to ZZU Zębowo on the SGT DN1400 pipeline. Budimex will also modernise the existing ZZU DN1400 gas pipeline infrastructure, including the replacement of a linear valve. This modernisation work is essential to align the current infrastructure with the upgraded system parameters and to enhance safety and operational performance.

- The DN1000 Goleniów – Ciecierzyce gas pipeline is approximately 122 kilometres long.
- The DN700 Rembelszczyzna – Mory gas pipeline, approximately 28.5 kilometres in length.
The total value of these completed projects exceeds PLN 1 billion, underscoring Budimex’s significant contribution to the development of Poland’s transmission network.
