Installed Building Products Acquires Echols Glass & Mirror and Vanderkoy Bros

Installed Building Products, Inc. (NYSE: IBP), a leading installer of insulation and complementary building materials, has announced the acquisitions of Echols Glass & Mirror, Inc. (“Echols”) and Vanderkoy Bros, LLC (“Vanderkoy”). These strategic moves further strengthen IBP’s national footprint and diversify its product mix, revenue streams, and service capabilities across the U.S. construction market.

Headquartered in Buford, Georgia, Echols Glass & Mirror is a well-established provider of high-end glass design, fabrication, and installation services. The company operates both as a wholesale fabricator and retail installer, serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Southeastern United States. Echols is recognized for its superior craftsmanship and attention to detail across a range of specialty offerings, including custom glass, mirrors, closets, bath hardware, and other home interior products. Its vertically integrated business model enables it to deliver tailored design and installation solutions that meet the growing demand for quality finishes in residential construction and renovation projects.

Meanwhile, Vanderkoy Bros, LLC, based in Wausau, Wisconsin, specializes in drywall and metal stud framing installation for both commercial and residential clients. The company maintains a strong presence in the Wisconsin construction market, participating in new development projects as well as repair and retrofit work for existing structures. Vanderkoy’s expertise and focus on service efficiency have made it a trusted partner in both large-scale and specialized construction projects.

Together, these acquisitions bring in over $16 million in annual revenue, marking another step in IBP’s disciplined acquisition strategy aimed at reinforcing its leadership in complementary construction segments. The additions also highlight the company’s continued focus on broadening its service portfolio—moving beyond its core insulation business into adjacent markets such as glass, drywall, and framing, which offer recurring opportunities across residential and commercial building cycles.

Jeff Edwards, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Installed Building Products, commented on the acquisitions, saying:

“The acquisitions of Echols and Vanderkoy add over $16 million of annual revenue and expand our complementary product offering throughout several compelling housing markets. To date in 2025, we have acquired approximately $55 million in annual revenue. Acquisitions remain a key component of our growth strategy, and we continue to focus on expansion across multiple geographies, products, and end markets. On behalf of everyone at Installed Building Products, I want to welcome Echols and Vanderkoy onto our team.”

Edwards’ statement underscores IBP’s continued success in executing its multi-pronged growth strategy, which blends organic expansion with targeted acquisitions to strengthen local market positions and capture new demand. The 2025 acquisition total of roughly $55 million in annual revenue reflects the company’s consistent momentum in identifying and integrating high-quality regional businesses that complement its existing operations.

With the addition of Echols and Vanderkoy, IBP enhances its ability to serve both new construction and retrofit markets, providing builders, developers, and homeowners with a broader range of solutions under one trusted brand. These acquisitions also deepen IBP’s relationships within key regional economies—particularly in the Southeast and Midwest—which continue to see steady growth in residential and commercial construction activity.

As one of the largest installers of insulation and building products in the U.S., Installed Building Products now operates through more than 240 branch locations nationwide, offering a diverse suite of services including insulation, garage doors, rain gutters, shower doors, closet shelving, mirrors, and other interior finishing products. Its strategy focuses on driving sustainable growth through operational excellence, local partnerships, and disciplined capital deployment.

By bringing Echols Glass & Mirror and Vanderkoy Bros into its expanding network, IBP strengthens both its regional depth and product breadth, positioning itself to meet the evolving needs of the modern construction industry—where quality, speed, and integrated services are increasingly in demand. These acquisitions reinforce IBP’s commitment to zproviding superior building solutions across every stage of the construction process.
