The project will improve healthcare in the Middle Tennessee region,Turner Construction Company recently celebrated the topping out of two major projects in Nashville: the $76.4 million Midtown Medical Office Building and the $25.4 million Tennessee Oncology Tenant Improvements. During the topping out ceremony, workers and clients signed the final steel beam.
The five-story cancer care center will offer comprehensive clinical medicine by integrating imaging, medical, and radiation oncology services under one roof. It will feature advanced technology for cancer prevention, detection, and treatment, along with additional services like nutrition counseling, social work, and navigation for a holistic approach to care.
Natalie Dickson, MD, President and CEO of Tennessee Oncology, expressed gratitude for Turner’s role in creating a cutting-edge facility close to patients’ homes. “Our dedicated team is excited for the grand opening and eager to continue delivering high-quality care and innovative treatments,” she said.
Paul Lawson, Vice President and General Manager at Turner Construction, shared his enthusiasm about reaching this milestone. “This center will significantly impact cancer care, and we’re proud to contribute to such an important project,” he noted.
The 310,097-square-foot building is set for completion in Spring 2025, with the tenant improvements scheduled for Summer 2025.
