
Keppel Infrastructure Fund Names Eng Chin Chin as Independent Director
Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management Pte Ltd , the Trustee-Manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT), has announced a series of board composition changes aimed at enhancing governance and aligning with the company’s long-term strategic objectives. These changes, which are part of a planned board renewal process, include the appointment of Ms. Eng Chin Chin (邢晶晶) as an independent director, along with adjustments to key committee memberships.
Appointment of Ms. Eng Chin Chin
Effective February 20, 2025, Ms. Eng Chin Chin, aged 61, will join KIFM’s Board as an independent director. She will also serve as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee. Ms. Eng brings extensive experience in auditing, risk management, and corporate governance, making her a valuable addition to the Board.

Ms. Eng’s career spans 36 years with KPMG Singapore, where she held several senior management roles overseeing quality and risk management, as well as ethics and independence. Her expertise in capital markets is demonstrated by her role as an independent reporting accountant for the listing and fundraising exercises of numerous asset management and real estate entities on the Singapore Exchange. Since 2022, she has chaired the Ethics Committee of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), which is responsible for issuing the ISCA Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics. Ms. Eng holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore.
Reassignments Within the Board
In addition to Ms. Eng’s appointment, several reassignments will take effect on February 20, 2025:
- Mr. Khor Poh Hwa (许保华), aged 75, currently an independent director and a member of the ESG Committee, will transition to the Nominating and Remuneration Committee and the Investment Committee.
- Mr. Mark Andrew Yeo Kah Chong (杨家俊), aged 62, will step down from the Board following KIT’s upcoming annual general meeting. Consequently, he will cease to be Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Nominating and Remuneration Committee.
- Mr. Adrian Chan Pengee (陈秉义), aged 60, an independent director, will succeed Mr. Yeo as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee.
