Tutor Perini Corporation, a prominent name in civil, building, and specialty construction, has announced that its subsidiary, Fisk Electric Company, has been awarded the second phase of a significant contract for the new Harris Health hospital project located on the Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital campus in Houston, Texas.
This latest award—valued at approximately $99 million—represents the second phase of a guaranteed maximum price contract that currently totals approximately $166 million. The project covers a broad scope of electrical services for the expansive new hospital development, which will play a pivotal role in enhancing healthcare access across Harris County.

The full scope of Fisk Electric’s work is anticipated to reach substantial completion in the fourth quarter of 2028, aligning with the broader project timeline for the new hospital facility.

Once complete, the 14-story Harris Health hospital will serve as Harris County’s third Level I trauma center, representing a critical upgrade in the county’s emergency and trauma care capabilities. The new facility is set to open in late 2028 and will span approximately 1.3 million square feet, offering significant capacity and flexibility for future growth.
