CPB Contractors is making steady progress on the NSW Government’s Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital Redevelopment in Camperdown, Sydney. As part of their commitment to enhancing opportunities for all stakeholders, the project recently hosted an Indigenous Business Forum aimed at strengthening collaboration within the supply chain.
The inaugural forum brought together over 60 key stakeholders, including project teams, subcontractor representatives, and Indigenous business owners. This gathering provided a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and discussions about future collaboration opportunities.
Camillo Masci, CPB Contractors’ Executive General Manager of Building, reported that the forum was met with enthusiastic feedback.
“Our RPA Forum exemplifies how CPB Contractors fosters new opportunities and builds strong, collaborative partnerships,” Masci said. “The success of this year’s event has led the team to begin planning for the 2025 forum.”
CPB Contractors’ scope of work on the RPA project includes constructing a new 15-storey acute hospital building adjacent to the current RPA Hospital, expanding both vertically and horizontally, and performing significant refurbishments across the campus. Additionally, the project involves re-aligning Lambie Dew Drive Road, diverting existing underground services, and designing a temporary helicopter landing site.
