Bouygues Construction has been a key player in the energy renovation market for over 40 years. With three new offers tailored to the needs of energy-efficient renovations for existing buildings, the company provides landlords, co-owners, and individual homeowners with customized solutions that simplify the process of implementing energy-saving projects.
Given that 80% of the housing stock projected for 2050 is already built, energy renovation has become a critical issue. In France alone, 4.8 million homes are classified as “thermal sieves” (with energy ratings of F or G). Starting in 2025, landlords will no longer be permitted to rent properties with a G rating, with F-rated properties following suit in 2028.
In response to these challenges, Bouygues Construction offers support and simplification for homeowners, who often feel overwhelmed by the scale and complexity of the work involved.
Social Landlords: COREHA Offer
The COREHA offer is designed specifically for social landlords, with a focus on residents’ well-being. It guarantees reduced energy costs, improved thermal comfort, and a high-quality work process with minimal disruption. A dedicated contact person manages the project to ensure clear communication, optimized scheduling, and resident safety. Pre-assembled components minimize the duration and impact of the work. Through its expert engineering and rehabilitation teams, Bouygues Construction provides technical solutions that maximize energy savings, comfort, and property value.
Co-Ownerships: COPRIO Offer
COPRIO is a tailored solution for co-owners that simplifies the management of complex energy renovation projects. Co-ownership groups, through their property managers, can rely on Bouygues Construction’s experts to guide them through every stage of their energy upgrades.
COPRIO ensures reduced energy bills, no upfront costs for the work, timely project completion, and minimal disruption. It also promises an increase in property value by up to 20%. Supported by partner companies such as banks, design firms, and law offices, Bouygues Construction assists co-owners with:
- Administrative tasks (general meetings, permits, financing through loans and subsidies)
- Project implementation and coordination
- Maintenance contracts, when required
Individual Homeowners: KLEOM Offer
KLEOM provides an adaptable, turnkey solution for individuals, supporting them through every stage of their energy renovation project, from diagnosis and project execution to administrative follow-up and securing financial aid. Additionally, KLEOM connects homeowners with banking partners to finance any remaining costs. Initially launched in Brittany and Pays de la Loire, KLEOM will expand to Normandy and Hauts-de-France by 2025, with plans for national deployment.
A Comprehensive Approach to Energy Renovation
With this holistic strategy, Bouygues Construction is addressing the urgent need for energy-efficient renovations in France’s housing sector. Their solutions offer greater thermal comfort, streamlined project management, reduced energy costs, and increased property values.
“The scale of the housing stock in France presents a significant challenge for energy renovation. We are proud to leverage our expertise to provide landlords, co-owners, and homeowners with simpler energy renovation solutions that improve comfort and lower energy costs, while supporting the broader energy transition. Our projects benefit from close collaboration with local partners,” said Philippe Jouy, Deputy CEO of Bouygues Construction, in charge of Bouygues Bâtiment France.
