Fletcher Building has announced the appointment of Tony Dragicevich as a non-executive director, effective August 1, 2024. The Board has confirmed that Mr. Dragicevich will serve as an independent director and has also been appointed to the Board of Fletcher Building Industries Limited.
Barbara Chapman, Acting Chair of Fletcher Building, remarked: “Tony is a distinguished CEO and director with extensive experience in leading distribution and manufacturing businesses across Australia and New Zealand. His successful career in the building products industry, coupled with his strong record of enhancing shareholder value, makes him a valuable addition to our Board.”
Since 2013, Tony Dragicevich has served as the Managing Director and CEO of Capral, Australia’s largest aluminium extrusion manufacturing and distribution company. Prior to this role, he was the Managing Director and CEO of Wattyl Group, a leading paint manufacturer in Australia and New Zealand. His previous leadership positions include Chief Executive of GWA Bathrooms and Kitchens (Caroma), Managing Director of Red Paper Group, and General Manager of Carter Holt Harvey Insulation.
Originally from New Zealand, Tony graduated with a commerce degree from the University of Auckland. He began his career in finance and management roles at Ceramco and Carter Holt Harvey in New Zealand before moving to Australia to further his career.
