The launch represents a major step forward in the construction industry’s digital transformation, creating a trusted data foundation that enables advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, including agentic AI, to operate effectively across projects.

The construction sector has long struggled with fragmented data, disconnected workflows, and information silos that hinder collaboration and decision-making. These intelligent digital assistants can analyze relationships between workflows, interpret project data, and support decision-making across complex construction environments. The practical benefits of this approach are already becoming apparent. Buro Happold, a global engineering consultancy, has reported significant improvements through the use of AI-enabled workflows. According to Chief Technology Officer Alain Waha, the organization is on track to reduce administrative work related to Requests for Information (RFIs), responses, and submittal reviews by approximately 50 percent. By embedding AI directly into project workflows, teams can spend less time searching for information and more time advancing project objectives.

The effectiveness of Procore AI stems from its ability to access and understand structured project datasets. The system connects with Building Information Modeling (BIM) data, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and field activity records. This comprehensive understanding allows AI to interpret both the physical and operational dimensions of a project.

To support regional requirements, Procore has established a localized UK Data Zone and intends to launch a dedicated EU Data Zone in the fall of 2026. The platform also supports major industry standards and is working toward achieving Cyber Essentials certification by the end of the year.
