YIT Starts Construction of 36 Riverside Homes in Oulu

YIT has initiated a new self-developed residential project in the city of Oulu, further strengthening its presence in Northern Finland’s housing market.

The project, named Asunto Oy Oulun Merijalinportti, will bring 36 modern homes to a scenic riverside location in the Länsi-Tuira district. Construction work on the Merijalinportti development began in December 2025, and the project is scheduled for completion in September 2027. Once finished, the development will consist of two residential buildings: a contemporary apartment building and a terraced house structure. The apartment building will offer approximately 1,900 square meters of residential space and is thoughtfully positioned to take full advantage of its riverside setting.
