Western Window Systems Supports Expansion of C4 Foundation Ranch for Active-Duty Navy SEAL Families
Western Window Systems, a member of the MITER Brands portfolio and a recognized manufacturer of moving glass walls and window systems, has partnered with the C4 Foundation to support active-duty Navy SEALs and their families through a significant product donation. Backed by the MITER Foundation, the charitable division of MITER Brands, the company recently contributed more than 40 windows and doors for the construction of six new bungalows at the C4 Ranch in Mesa Grande, California.
The donation represents more than a contribution of building materials. It reflects a commitment to supporting military families who often face extraordinary emotional and personal challenges while navigating the demands of service. The new accommodations at the ranch are expected to expand the organization’s ability to provide restorative retreats and specialized programs designed to strengthen relationships and improve mental wellness among members of the Naval Special Warfare community.
The C4 Ranch was established in 2018 as a sanctuary dedicated to honoring the memory of Charles Humphrey Keating IV, affectionately known as “C4.” Keating, a Navy SEAL, lost his life in Iraq on May 3, 2016, while defending American freedoms. Inspired by his legacy of courage, sacrifice, and dedication to service, the ranch was created as a peaceful retreat where active-duty Navy SEALs and their loved ones can reconnect, heal, and rebuild strong family bonds.
Situated across 560 acres in the scenic landscape of Mesa Grande, the ranch currently includes a three-bedroom cabin and three Airstream trailers that host military families during retreats and workshops. The programs offered at the facility are designed to address the invisible wounds that often accompany military service, including stress, emotional exhaustion, and the strain prolonged deployments can place on relationships.
As demand for these programs has continued to grow, the C4 Foundation launched an expansion initiative to increase its accommodations and broaden its impact. The six new private bungalows now under construction will significantly enhance the ranch’s ability to host more families and deliver additional support services. Once completed, the project is expected to double the organization’s current capacity to serve active-duty Navy SEALs and their families.
The expansion comes at a time when the need for supportive programs within the military community continues to rise. In 2025 alone, the C4 Foundation hosted 98 family retreats and organized 16 specialized workshops focused on resilience, communication, and personal growth. These programs provide families with the opportunity to disconnect from daily pressures and reconnect in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature.
To help bring the new accommodations to life, Western Window Systems supplied a wide range of premium products designed to maximize natural light, enhance comfort, and create seamless indoor-outdoor living experiences. The donation included several of the company’s signature systems, such as the Series 7900 Swinging Door, the Series 7665 Pass-Through Awning Window, and the Series 7600 Angled Multi-Sliding Door.
The products were selected not only for their modern design and durability but also for their ability to create warm and welcoming living spaces. Many of the new bungalows will feature unobstructed views of the nearby Cleveland National Forest, allowing families to enjoy the calming effects of the natural surroundings while spending quality time together.

Shared outdoor deck areas are intended to foster camaraderie and interaction among visiting families, while the private interiors provide quiet spaces for reflection, relaxation, and meaningful family moments. Organizers believe this balance between social engagement and personal space is essential for helping families recharge emotionally and mentally.
Mike DeSoto, Chief Operating Officer of MITER Brands, explained that the partnership with the C4 Foundation was an easy decision once the organization’s mission was introduced to the company through one of its dealers.

The bungalow expansion project is expected to be completed in fall 2026. Once finished, the enhanced ranch facilities will provide even greater opportunities for healing, restoration, and connection for the active-duty Navy SEAL community and their families for years to come.
