
Wellington to Expand Assisted Living & Memory Care by Summer 2025
Sonida Senior Living has announced a significant expansion of The Wellington at North Bend Crossing in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the addition of a new building named “Vista.” This expansion will enhance the community’s capacity to provide assisted living and memory care services, addressing a growing need in the area.
The newly constructed, four-story Vista building is now open for tours, with an official opening anticipated in the summer of 2025.
Vista Building Details:
The Vista building will add 82 new assisted living and memory care apartments to The Wellington at North Bend Crossing, increasing the community’s maximum occupancy to 113 residents. This expansion will also generate approximately 65 new jobs in the Cincinnati area, contributing to local economic growth.

This addition addresses a growing need among local families for flexible, short-term living options that provide support and care.
Furthermore, Vista will expand The Wellington at North Bend Crossing’s specialized Memory Care neighborhood. This neighborhood utilizes Sonida’s signature Magnolia Trails™ program, which is designed to provide meaningful engagement and purpose-driven experiences for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The Magnolia Trails™ program focuses on creating a secure and comforting environment where residents can thrive with dignity and support.
