VINCI signs the contract to design and make Germany’s first thawed natural gas( LNG) terminal

· An EPC * contract to make a regasification terminal comprising 2 storehouse tanks
· A strategic design for Germany’s energy independence

Through its attachment Cobra IS and in a institute with Sener, VINCI has inked the EPC * contract to make Germany’s first regasification outstation. It’ll have a product capacity of 10 billion m3 of natural gas per time and will have two,000 m3 storehouse tanks. The outstation will also be equipped with supplementary operating systems, structure and structures.

This outstation will give strategic structure for the client German LNG Terminal, and will be located at Brunsbüttel at the mouth of the Elbe on the North Sea. It’ll enable Germany to import thawed natural gas by ocean, to be disburdened there for storehouse and regasification before being fitted into the German grid or transported by lorries or carts.

The installation is to be delivered in 2026, with the workshop lasting 42 months.

Cobra IS and Sener have recognised moxie in systems of this kind, having completed the thawed natural gas outstations at Sagunto and Bahía de Bizkaia in Spain, Gate in the Netherlands, Dunkirk in France, and Zeebrugge in Belgium.
