Turner Construction Company Honored as One of The Best Places To Work in 2023

Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award recognizes Turner’s people-centric focus of active caring and creating the right environment in the workplace

Turner Construction Company was selected to receive a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognizing the Best Places to Work in 2023. The Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award is based on the input of employees, who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback about their job, work environment and employer.

This is the second year that Turner was selected to receive this honor. Among many prominent companies recognized on the list include Turner clients, partners, and friends.

“Active caring is a guiding principle at the heart of everything we do. We can put up all the buildings in the world, but treating people with respect and dignity, and eliminating hate and bias every minute of every day is the most import work we do,” said Peter Davoren, President and Chief Executive Officer of Turner Construction Company. Peter continued, “I thank the employees who took time to share their perspective on what it is like to work here. We appreciate their feedback as it helps us make Turner a better place to be.”

“Glassdoor data shows there are still companies hyper-focused on creating outstanding employee experiences,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Glassdoor Chief Executive Officer. “It’s encouraging to see companies doubling down on employee mental health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, competitive benefits, and flexible work environments as we head into 2023. I sincerely congratulate all the Best Places to Work winners.”

On Glassdoor, current and former employees offer insights and opinions about their work environments. When sharing a company review on Glassdoor, employees are asked to rate their satisfaction with the company overall, and key workplace factors like career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, senior management, diversity and inclusion, and work/life balance. In addition, employees are asked to describe the best reasons to work at their companies as well as any downsides.

Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work winners were determined using company reviews shared by employees. Employers considered for the large list must have received at least 75 ratings for each of Glassdoor’s nine workplace attributes (overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommend to a friend, and six-month business outlook).
