Trump Tower Tbilisi Debuts With High-Profile Launch Event in Georgia
Trump Tower Tbilisi made its global debut on September 15 with a high-profile launch celebration in Georgia’s capital, bringing together business leaders, investors, project partners, celebrities, artists, influencers and international media to mark the introduction of the major real estate development.
The invitation-only event was held at Tbilisi’s iconic Funicular, overlooking the city’s illuminated skyline. The celebration provided guests with an introduction to Trump Tower Tbilisi and the broader Downtown Tbilisi development, a planned mixed-use destination located beside the city’s Central Park.
The evening featured a multimedia presentation highlighting the project’s architecture, vision and planned lifestyle offering, followed by the official unveiling of Trump Tower Tbilisi. The event combined Georgian cultural elements with international entertainment, including performances by Grammy Award-winning artist CeeLo Green and internationally recognized DJ and producer Francis Mercier.
The launch represented the first major public showcase of Downtown Tbilisi and the approximately US$2 billion development planned for the site. The project is being positioned as a new mixed-use destination combining residential, commercial, hospitality and retail components.
“This was the first real opportunity for people to see the scale and vision behind Trump Tower Tbilisi. It’s an exciting milestone for the project and for Downtown Tbilisi, which is quickly becoming one of the most dynamic business and lifestyle destinations in the region,” said Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization.

Trump Tower Tbilisi is being developed in collaboration with The Trump Organization as part of the wider Downtown Tbilisi master plan. Archi Group and INVIA are the principal partners and developers of Downtown Tbilisi. The Sapir Organization is serving as co-developer, while Block Stone Capital, Finvest Georgia and Vector Group are participating as minority partners.
The development brings together local real estate expertise and international partners with the objective of creating a large-scale destination for residential living, business, retail and hospitality.
Trump Tower Tbilisi is planned as the signature architectural landmark of the development and the first tower to rise within the wider project. Designed by Gensler’s Washington, D.C. team, the 62-storey tower is expected to reach approximately 280 metres in height.
If completed as planned, the tower will become the tallest building in Georgia and establish a prominent new feature on Tbilisi’s skyline.
Ilia Tsulaia, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Archi Group, said the launch demonstrated international interest in both the project and Georgia’s property market.
“Last night demonstrated the extraordinary excitement surrounding both Trump Tower Tbilisi and Georgia itself,” said Tsulaia. “Today, more than one in four of our buyers is international, and that share continues to grow.”
He compared the development environment in Tbilisi with other international destinations that experienced periods of rapid growth and increased global attention.

Levan Pkhakadze, Founder and CEO of INVIA, also highlighted the international interest surrounding the development.
“Tbilisi is a city of the future, and the energy surrounding this launch underscored just how much international interest there is in what is happening here,” said Pkhakadze.
According to Pkhakadze, the project combines international design and branding with local market knowledge as the development moves forward.
The Sapir Organization Chairman and CEO Alex Sapir described Trump Tower Tbilisi as a major development with the potential to introduce a new standard for high-end residential construction in the region.

Downtown Tbilisi will occupy an approximately eight-hectare site next to Central Park. The master plan calls for six towers and approximately 600,000 square metres of gross building area.
The approximately US$2 billion development is planned to include a substantial mix of residential, office, hotel and retail space. The master plan includes approximately 500,000 square feet of retail space, 450,000 square feet of offices, 450,000 square feet of hotel space and 2.7 million square feet of residential space.
Retail and dining will form an important part of the development. The retail component of the Downtown Tbilisi podium is inspired by Miami’s Bal Harbour Shops and is planned to combine luxury retail and premium dining with the neighbouring park.
The design aims to create an indoor-outdoor destination serving residents, visitors and the surrounding community.
Trump Tower Tbilisi will offer residential units designed around views of the city and the adjacent park. Planned features include private access to Central Park, landscaped terraces and amenity decks, as well as access to luxury retail and fine dining at street level.
Studio residences are expected to start at approximately $290,000, while pricing is planned to range from approximately $650 to $1,000 per square foot.
Financing for the development includes a comprehensive financing package provided by TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia, two of Georgia’s major banking institutions whose parent groups are listed on the London Stock Exchange.
The launch comes as Georgia continues to attract international investors, residents and visitors. Located between Europe and Asia, the country has experienced strong economic growth in recent years and maintains free-trade agreements providing access to markets representing approximately 2.3 billion consumers.
Against this backdrop, the launch of Trump Tower Tbilisi marks a significant milestone for the Downtown Tbilisi project. The September 15 event introduced the development to an international audience and highlighted the planned combination of residential, retail, hospitality and commercial uses.
As construction and development plans progress, Trump Tower Tbilisi is expected to remain a central component of the wider Downtown Tbilisi master plan, adding a major residential landmark to the capital’s evolving skyline.
