(MHSI), a subsidiary of Milton Hydro Holdings Inc. in Ontario, Canada. This collaboration aims to enhance energy management services and solutions for customers during the ongoing energy transition.
The partnership will initiate a community-wide sub-metering program powered by Trilliant’s Smart Building platform, designed to improve customer experiences and create energy savings opportunities.
Sub-metering allows multi-tenant buildings to individually meter each unit, ensuring customers only pay for their own energy usage and can reap the benefits of their conservation efforts. This approach also aids property managers by providing predictable electricity costs for common areas, reducing operating expenses, and lowering maintenance fees. Sub-metering has proven effective in enhancing energy efficiency, with typical electricity usage reductions estimated at up to 40% after implementation.
MHSI will utilize Trilliant’s comprehensive design engineering, logistics, project management, and professional data and field services to deliver this solution to customers.
