Torch Sensors, a pioneering U.S. start-up specializing in wildfire detection technology, has announced the launch of its extensive nationwide beta program. Nationwide Rollout with a Strategic Start in Los Angeles

- North Carolina: A partnership with a leading S&P 500 utility company will see the deployment of 100 sensors. If the pilot proves successful, there are plans to expand to over 60 solar farms along the East Coast, protecting critical energy infrastructure and surrounding land.
- New Mexico: The state’s capital city will implement a pilot program with 20 sensors placed in city parks to protect public green spaces and surrounding areas. With 59,000 acres of parkland to monitor, the city aims to be a national leader in adopting advanced wildfire detection technology to enhance safety and operational efficiency for emergency responders.
Torch Sensors has set an ambitious goal of deploying 1,000 units by June 2025 and expanding the network to 3,000 by the end of the year.
