Suffolk Technologies marked a major milestone with its 5th annual BOOST Demo Day, held at Suffolk’s National Headquarters in Roxbury, Massachusetts. As part of the broader Boston Built Week, the event united collaborators like the Foundation for Innovation in Real Estate, Built Worlds, and the C-Tech Club.
The BOOST program bridges the gap between innovation and industry, enabling startups to develop groundbreaking solutions while connecting with major industry players. Its global network spans general contractors, trade partners, building owners, technology providers, and an engaged alumni community, creating a dynamic environment for real-world innovation.
Demo Day highlighted the achievements of five BOOST 5 cohort startups—Artic, Genia, Kroo, novl, and Tangible—presenting to an audience of over 400 investors, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs. Additionally, four portfolio companies—Anodet, Ediphi, Exodigo, and Handle—shared cutting-edge advancements transforming the built environment.
Parker Mundt, VP of Platform at Suffolk Technologies, emphasized the program’s growing impact:
“This year’s BOOST was our most transformative yet. Expanded partnerships, new product launches, and record attendance underscore our mission to revolutionize the construction industry.”
The event also featured a fireside chat with William Schlacks, Co-founder of EquipmentShare, and Suffolk CFO Puneet Mahajan, delving into the role of data and entrepreneurship in driving construction innovation.
During the eight-week program, participants engaged in expert-led workshops and leveraged Suffolk’s extensive network. Genia earned the “People’s Choice Award,” while team members and industry partners were recognized for their contributions.
Since its launch, BOOST has graduated 30 companies that have collectively raised over $525 million in venture funding, driving lasting advancements in the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) sector. This year’s program was supported by 36 industry partners, including Autodesk, Procore, Simpson Strong-Tie, and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
With the success of BOOST 5, Suffolk Technologies continues to drive transformative innovation, ensuring a bright future for the built world.
