
Sterling Appoints B. Andrew Rose and David Schulz to Board of Directors
Sterling Infrastructure, has announced the addition of two accomplished executives, B. Andrew (Andy) Rose and David (Dave) Schulz, to its Board of Directors, effective July 10, 2025. Their appointments reflect Sterling’s continued commitment to strengthening its leadership team as it executes its strategic growth initiatives and drives long-term shareholder value.
As part of their new roles, Mr. Rose will serve on Sterling’s Compensation and Talent Development Committee as well as the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Mr. Schulz will join the Compensation and Talent Development Committee and the Audit Committee. Their extensive backgrounds in executive leadership, financial management, and operational excellence are expected to provide valuable oversight and strategic counsel to the Company’s Board and management team.
Andy Rose brings more than three decades of experience spanning finance, private equity, industrial manufacturing, and distribution. Most recently, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Worthington Enterprises, a publicly traded manufacturer specializing in consumer and building products. During his tenure at Worthington, Mr. Rose held a series of key leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer and President, where he guided the company through various stages of growth and transformation.
Prior to his tenure at Worthington Enterprises, Mr. Rose co-founded Peachtree Equity Partners, a private equity firm, where he gained hands-on experience identifying and growing middle-market businesses. He also served as a senior investment professional at MCG Capital, focusing on investments in emerging companies. Earlier in his career, he built a solid foundation in finance with roles at Wachovia Capital Associates and J.P. Morgan & Co., acquiring deep expertise in capital markets and corporate finance.
Mr. Rose holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. His broad experience across executive management, private equity, and investment banking equips him with the skills needed to help guide Sterling’s strategic direction in a rapidly evolving market.
Dave Schulz also brings extensive leadership experience to Sterling’s Board, with more than 25 years in senior roles overseeing finance and operations at some of the world’s leading companies. Mr. Schulz currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Wesco International, a Fortune 500 company that provides distribution, logistics services, and supply chain solutions to the electrical, data communications, and utility industries.
At Wesco, Mr. Schulz has played a pivotal role in driving financial performance, managing complex integrations, and leading transformative initiatives to position the company for sustained growth. His prior leadership experience includes senior finance and operations roles at Armstrong World Industries, where he helped oversee strategic business realignment, as well as earlier roles at Procter & Gamble and The J.M. Smucker Company, where he gained invaluable experience in global operations, financial planning, and performance management.
Mr. Schulz began his professional career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, a foundation that shaped his disciplined leadership style and commitment to operational excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University and a Master of Science in Management from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, reflecting a strong educational background that complements his extensive professional accomplishments.
