PYBAR, a leading underground mining contractor, has secured a four-year contract with a one-year extension option from AIC Mines to provide underground development services at the Eloise Copper Mine Complex in northwest Queensland, Australia. The complex encompasses the existing Eloise Mine and the Jericho deposits.
The $149 million contract includes constructing a 3km underground link drive for Jericho from the Eloise decline, which is located 125m below the surface, as well as developing 600m for stockpiles.

Additional equipment mobilisation for the Eloise Mine is set to begin in July 2024, with work on the Jericho development having started earlier this month.
