Primoris Services Corporation (Primoris), through a wholly owned subsidiary, and Venture Engineering & Construction, Inc. (Venture) have announced a strategic partnership to target emerging opportunities in the renewable energy, industrial, and gas processing facility markets. This collaboration merges the strengths of both companies to provide innovative, comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction solutions focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Jeremy Kinch, President of Primoris’ Energy segment, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We’re excited to team up with Venture in this strategic alliance. It aligns perfectly with our companies’ vision and capabilities. Together, we will enhance our client offerings, deliver impactful solutions, and offer exceptional service, driving mutual success and outstanding value.”
Primoris offers a wide range of in-house services across the downstream, midstream, and renewable energy sectors. This includes refining, petrochemical, hydrogen, syngas, LNG, pipeline projects, gas-to-liquids, solar energy, battery storage, data centers, biodiesel, biogas (from various waste sources), and carbon capture facilities.
Clive Vaughan, Senior Vice President of Primoris’ Engineering division, highlighted the potential benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) for the renewables market, noting: “The IRA’s impact on biogas, hydrogen, and other sustainable fuels excites us. This agreement will enable us to provide cutting-edge solutions, invest in workforce development, and address key energy challenges.”
Venture brings expertise in handling diverse process and environmental projects, from alternative energy solutions such as landfill gas-to-energy and manure-to-renewable natural gas to organic waste-to-renewable natural gas.
Dave Moniot, CEO and Chairman of Venture, commented: “With the rising demand for biogas projects, our partnership with Primoris will expand our service offerings and meet the needs of customers in this rapidly growing sector.”
Under the agreement, Primoris and Venture will collaborate on projects, share technical resources, and seek new business opportunities that align with their shared goals.
Kevin Emerson, Venture’s President and CFO, added: “Our collaboration with Primoris combines Venture’s extensive biogas experience with Primoris’ engineering capabilities and IRA-compliant construction footprint, creating a robust service offering for developers in the renewable fuels sector.
