NCC has entered into a turnkey contract with BAE Systems Hägglunds to develop new production facilities in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The SEK 560 million project will involve constructing the ‘Loket D-hall’, which includes a production hall, terminal, staff areas, workshops, and garages, totaling 12,000 square meters. This facility will be built at BAE Systems Hägglunds’ existing Gullänget site.
Niklas Sparw, Head of NCC Building Sweden, highlighted that this project aligns well with NCC’s expertise in security-classified buildings and strengthens the ongoing partnership with BAE Systems Hägglunds. The construction is set to begin immediately and is slated for completion by spring 2026. The contract will be recorded in the NCC Building Sweden business area in Q3 2024.
