These strategic advancements underscore Metrie’s commitment to industry leadership and the continued execution of its long-term growth strategy. The company’s leadership team has been instrumental in driving success, and these promotions reflect the organization’s dedication to recognizing and fostering internal talent.

Reflecting on his journey, MacDonald stated, “My career at Metrie has always been in service of helping our customers win. Marketing plays a pivotal role in that mission through market insights, innovation, product development, campaigns, media, and collateral coordination. In my new role, I look forward to continuing the journey to earn the trust of our customers and solidify Metrie as their preferred millwork supplier.”

As CMO, MacDonald will be responsible for shaping Metrie’s overarching marketing strategy, further strengthening the brand’s presence across North America, and ensuring customer-centric initiatives align with the company’s business objectives.

Bartel brings an extensive 22-year tenure at Metrie, having served in multiple senior leadership roles. Prior to his national appointment, he led the Western US Pro business and previously managed the Manufacturing Channel Sales team. His deep expertise and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving growth and operational efficiency within Metrie’s US market.

“Leading the US team over the last year has been an extremely rewarding role,” Bartel remarked. “The team is laser-focused on creating win-win solutions with our customers, and I am excited to work with our US team to drive continued success in 2025 and beyond.”

In his role, Bartel will oversee Metrie’s entire US operations, ensuring seamless integration of the company’s recent acquisitions while enhancing customer partnerships and driving market expansion.

Jon Dickinson Expands Leadership in Sales Excellence

Jon Dickinson, a 25-year Metrie veteran, has taken on new accountabilities as Vice President of Sales. Throughout his career, Dickinson has held multiple strategic roles, including managing National Accounts in Canada before leading the US Pro business.

Currently, Dickinson is spearheading a long-term sales excellence review across Metrie, aiming to ensure that the company remains the easiest millwork supplier to partner and grow with across North America. His leadership will be critical in optimizing sales strategies and reinforcing customer relationships to drive sustainable growth.

In addition to leading long-term strategic planning, she will now oversee the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. Osier will report directly to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jeremy Black, ensuring Metrie’s financial strategies align with its broader business goals.

Additionally, Kate Vondette has been promoted to Vice President, Corporate Controller. Since joining Metrie two years ago, Vondette has played a key role in reshaping the finance function with her strategic insights and collaborative approach. Rocheleau joined Metrie in 2022 as Director, Marketing Communications, and has since taken on increasing responsibilities in driving customer insights and brand positioning. In her new role, she will continue to oversee these key areas while further refining marketing strategies to strengthen its market presence and customer engagement.

CEO Kent Bowie Praises Leadership Team
