Founded in 1976 in Houston by A.R. Following Cornerstone Building Brands’ acquisition of Metal Sales in 2025, MBCI is integrating the Metal Sales Commercial & Industrial segment into its portfolio.
This strategic expansion strengthens MBCI’s ability to serve customers by providing access to one of the metal construction industry’s largest manufacturing and distribution networks, supported by more than 100 locations across North America.
The integration also creates new opportunities for architectural metal solutions, giving customers access to a wider selection of profiles, finishes and design options.

MBCI is also enhancing its ability to support customers through the expansion of its Project Solutions capabilities. By integrating the Metal Sales CIA Hub, the company is strengthening its ability to provide dedicated project support from early planning stages through completion.
The expanded Project Solutions team assists customers with estimating, scope alignment, product selection, project coordination and technical support. By bringing together metal roofing, wall systems, structural components and architectural panels under one coordinated approach, MBCI helps simplify complex projects and improve overall execution.
