Lunda Construction Awarded $67.2M Contract for I-94/I-394 Interchange in Minneapolis

Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil, building, and specialty construction company, announced that its subsidiary, Lunda Construction Company, has secured a contract valued at approximately $67.2 million from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The contract involves the I-94 and I-394 Interchange Project in Minneapolis.

The project scope includes structural repairs to 34 bridges and ramps along I-394 and I-94, stretching from downtown Minneapolis to Highway 100. Key elements of the work include deck replacement for the Penn Avenue bridge over I-394, maintenance improvements on the Dunwoody Boulevard ramp, and other infrastructure upgrades along I-394 within the project corridor.

Construction is scheduled to commence in July 2025, with substantial completion expected by summer 2027. The contract value was added to Tutor Perini’s project backlog during the second quarter of 2025.
