L&T wins transnational sun at the 2022 structure & Going Digital Awards
Larsen & Toubro’s Water & Effluent Treatment( WET) Business has won global sun at the 2022 structure & Going Digital Awards, London, for its water and wastewater design in Karnataka. The prestigious periodic award recognizes structure systems that work out- of- the- box digital tech.
L&T’s design for the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout Township in Bengaluru made it to the tests in the ‘ water and wastewater ’ order at the awards that was arbitrated by an 11- member independent jury panel and was conducted by the Nasdaq- listed Bentley Systems, a global structure engineering software company. The design will deliver drinkable water, collect sewerage, and lay a recycled water network through a piped system in the NPKL Township area in Bengaluru.
The design platoon has bettered engineering productivity by as important as 25 with the help of digital technology and has saved 50 engineering manhours with standardized digital models. For seamster and water networks alone, using technology results saved the design 80 of engineering manhours and helped the platoon complete the engineering works in a record six months.

The WET design made it to the top three and was judged by the jury panel that named the winning systems from across 12 award orders. The awards entered 300 nominations from 180 associations in 47 countries.
L&T’s WET business is a leader in the realm of constructing the entire diapason of vital water structure covering civic & pastoral water force, water treatment shops, artificial water force and treatment shops for recycling and play, wastewater treatment and network, sludge operation, lift irrigation systems, desalination shops, mileage structure for developing greenfield and brownfield areas, and continued optimized water force with leak discovery.
