KBR (NYSE: KBR) has been awarded an $82 million cost-plus-fixed-fee task order by the United States Air Force (USAF) for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, supporting the B-52 System Program Office (AFLCMC/WBD) at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
Under this contract, KBR will continue addressing reliability, maintainability, quality, supportability, and interoperability (RMQSI) issues, as well as system and structural sustainability, component and subsystem testing, obsolescence, and cybersecurity. Tasks include reliability analysis, development of non-destructive inspection (NDI) and test techniques, maintenance procedures, and analysis tools for reliability data. KBR will tackle critical Department of Defense technologies over the next five years.
