Fortune Brands Innovations Appoints Jesse Singh as CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth and Transformation
Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc., a leading home, security, and digital products company focused on transforming spaces into safer and more functional environments, has announced the appointment of Jesse G. Singh as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Singh officially assumed the role on June 29, 2026, following a unanimous decision by the Fortune Brands Board of Directors. The appointment marks a new leadership chapter for the company as it focuses on strengthening operations, expanding innovation, and creating long-term value for customers, partners, and shareholders.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience across building products, consumer markets, technology, and manufacturing industries, Singh brings extensive experience managing global businesses, improving operational performance, and driving sustainable growth.
Most recently, Singh served as Chief Executive Officer of The AZEK Company from 2016 to 2025, where he led the organization through a period of significant transformation. During his tenure, he focused on operational excellence, business expansion, innovation, and cultural development, helping the company achieve profitable growth and improve EBITDA margins while increasing shareholder value.
Before joining AZEK, Singh held leadership positions at major global organizations, including 3M and GE, where he gained experience managing complex businesses, developing growth strategies, and improving operational efficiency.
Fortune Brands believes Singh’s background aligns with the company’s goals of building on its strong brand portfolio, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing its market position across home, security, and digital product categories.
“Following a comprehensive search process, the Board is pleased to appoint Jesse Singh as Fortune Brands’ next CEO. Jesse is a proven public-company executive with deep experience leading building products and branded consumer products businesses from his time at AZEK, 3M, and GE,” said Susan Kilsby, Non-Executive Chair of the Board.
Kilsby added that Singh’s focus on operational discipline and his record of delivering results make him well positioned to guide Fortune Brands into its next phase of growth.
“With Jesse’s focus on operational excellence and outstanding record of success, we believe he is the right leader to build on Fortune Brands’ strong brands, channel positions and innovation capabilities to strengthen performance and generate long-term shareholder value,” Kilsby said.
Singh expressed confidence in the company’s foundation and highlighted the opportunity to further develop Fortune Brands’ businesses through stronger execution and continued innovation.
“Fortune Brands has iconic brands, solid customer relationships and talented teams across its businesses. I see a compelling opportunity to build on the Company’s foundation and deliver durable value for customers, partners and shareholders,” Singh said.
Alongside Singh’s appointment, Fortune Brands has also announced changes to its leadership structure. David Barry, who had been serving as Interim CEO, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Barry will continue supporting the company’s day-to-day operations and work closely with Singh to advance strategic priorities.
Barry’s appointment reflects the company’s continued confidence in his leadership and operational expertise during the transition period. Since being named Interim CEO on March 16, Barry has worked with the leadership team to improve business performance and maintain organizational momentum.
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Dave for the strong leadership he has provided since he was appointed Interim CEO on March 16,” said Kilsby. “Dave has worked with our leadership team to meaningfully improve underlying business performance and ensure Fortune Brands continues to build momentum during this period of transition. We look forward to his continued contributions as he steps into the COO role.”
Interim Chief Financial Officer Ashley George will continue serving in her current position while the company continues its search for a permanent CFO.
Singh said he looks forward to collaborating with Fortune Brands’ leadership team and employees to improve execution, strengthen customer relationships, and maximize the potential of the company’s diverse portfolio.
“I am eager to work with the Board, Dave, Ashley and associates across the Company to strengthen execution, serve customers and unlock the full potential of the portfolio,” Singh said.
The leadership transition comes as Fortune Brands continues evaluating opportunities across its business segments. As previously announced, the company has begun a strategic review of its Fiberon business, which provides outdoor living products and solutions.
Going forward, Susan Kilsby will directly oversee the operations of the Fiberon business as part of the company’s continued focus on strategic priorities and business performance.
With Singh now leading the organization, Fortune Brands Innovations aims to leverage its established brands, customer partnerships, and innovation capabilities to drive future growth. The company’s leadership transition reflects its commitment to operational improvement, market expansion, and delivering sustainable value in the evolving home and building products industry.
