Fort Johnson Military Housing Communities Upgraded with New Playgrounds

In October, Corvias Property Management completed a project to add four new interactive playgrounds within Fort Johnson’s military housing communities, enhancing recreational spaces for families on base. Across three neighborhoods, residents now have access to a total of 14 playgrounds and 19 swing sets, designed to be conveniently located near homes and community centers, some even adjacent to pools for easy access. Several playgrounds also feature covered picnic areas, creating ideal spots for outdoor gatherings.

Beyond playgrounds, Fort Johnson’s outdoor amenities include pickleball and basketball courts, baseball fields, dog parks, and resort-style pools, fostering a vibrant community where residents can stay active and connected.

These amenities align with Corvias’ Wellness at Home Program, dedicated to enhancing the well-being and resilience of soldiers and their families by supporting a healthy living environment. Although full implementation of the Wellness at Home Program across Corvias’ properties depends on funding and Army approval, Corvias continues to prioritize resident experience by expanding amenities that holistically support military families in on-base housing.
