Eiffage Energiesystemen Expands its Industrial Automation and Technical Building Management Capabilities with Strategic Acquisitions
Eiffage Energiesystemen has acquired 100% of EKB, a company specializing in the design, production, and maintenance of industrial automation systems. In 2023, EKB generated sales of €35.5 million and employed nearly 200 people. This transaction is pending approval by the Dutch competition authorities.
Earlier in April, Eiffage Energiesystemen acquired a 70% stake in Rensen, a company with 74 employees that focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical building management systems. Rensen achieved a turnover of €15.5 million in 2023.
These acquisitions enhance Eiffage Énergie Systèmes’ expertise in electricity and information technology in the Netherlands. This is crucial to meet the increasing demand driven by the energy transition, and it strengthens the company’s ability to offer digital solutions to support industrial processes.
In the Netherlands, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes employs 1,600 people and generated revenues of €350 million in 2023, including contributions from Van den Pol, whose acquisition was finalized in early 2024.
