It offers expert design office services, including electronic card routing using Altium and Cadence software—complementing the capabilities of the historic Verquin site. The Colombelles site is equipped with state-of-the-art tools to ensure high-precision and high-quality production. A next-generation Surface Mounted Component (SMC) line is central to its operations, featuring advanced inspection technologies like:
- SPI (Solder Paste Inspection): A 3D optical system that verifies solder paste height, surface area, and volume on printed circuit boards. Positioned after the screen printer, SPI detects misalignments, excess paste, and short circuits—reducing the risk of defects before component placement.
- AOI3D (Automatic Optical Inspection): Ensures accurate component placement and quality at every production stage.
- Tomographic X-ray Imaging: Detects hidden solder joints, especially on Ball Grid Array (BGA) components, which are not visible to the naked eye or AOI3D.
